International scientific‑practical conference „Cooperation between Higher Education and World of Work: Sustainable, Innovative and Creative Perspective” will be held at Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences (VK) – the largest accredited higher professional education institution in Lithuania. Founded in 2000, now VK has nearly 7000 students, who study here under 45 study programmes in 7 faculties: Electronics and Informatics, Economics, Business Management, Health Care, Pedagogic, Arts and Creative Technologies and Agro-technologies. Vilniaus kolegija is an open to novelties, flexible and continually changing higher educational institution that is harmoniously combining labour market needs with the development of promising areas of science and art. The Forum on the Knowledge Economy acknowledged VK as one of the most advanced higher education institutions in the sphere of innovation management, „… which generates new knowledge in its environment and fosters the development of human society“.
